About us

Avala Ada was founded in 1946. In 2003, she became a member of the Kappa Star Ltd group and since then, about 40 million Euros have been invested in the factory. It extends to about 115,000 m2 of land, of which 35,000 m2 are the surface of buildings (production facilities, warehouses and administrative buildings). In January 2019 she became a member of Smurfit Kappa Group.

Avala Ada owns state-of-the-art equipment and represents a reliable partner to a large number of packaging customers.

The basis for continuous growth and development of the company in addition to modern equipment is also qualified personnel, people with expertise and great experience. The company employs over 300 people with expertise and long-term experience, which provides answers to every requirement of modern packaging.

Avala Ada operates in accordance with international standards (ISO 9001: 2008; ISO 14001: 2004; HACCP; OHSAS 18001: 2007; FSSC 22000; SMETA; FSC CoC) and aims to provide its customers with superior quality and safety of packaging, and modern graphic solutions. During years of development, besides significant investments in equipment for production, a special emphasis was placed on equipping a modern laboratory, which possesses all the necessary instruments necessary for continuous monitoring of the quality of input raw materials and finished products. Avala Ada is a recognized supplier in the markets of Hungary, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Croatia, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Slovenia and a reliable partner of a large number of multinational companies such as Philip Morris, British American Tobacco, Coca-Cola Hellenic, PepsiCo, Henkel, Nestle, Dr. Oetker, Bosch, Calsberg ...
